The new AUHS School of Medicine continues to progress! Recently the school began interviewing new faculty candidates for teaching positions. More interviews are planned for next week.
In other School of Medicine news, the founding dean of the SOM, Sandor Szabo, MD, PhD, MPH was an invited speaker, with two presentations, at the 11th ISCTICO (Int. Symposium on Cell/Tissue Injury & Cyto/Organoprotection), held last week in Hungary. This international conference was attended by 161 researchers and educators from about a half dozen countries, including Hungary, France, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, the UK, and the USA. Great work Dr. Szabo!
