We often travel to places
Going from here to there
Not so much looking, talking but helping
To show we truly care
We at times miss the messages, “The Word”
God speaks along ‘The Way”
Truly, I know it would be well for us
If we could stop long enough to pray
What we need to do everyday is to stay on track with God. The road that we are on is a long journey in life. Every time that we are in this long journey, God wants us to be at a place where we can find peace and harmony with Him. That is our destination. Our focus on other things can be so intense that we ignore our neighbors in need. We brush away the things that interrupt us, but God interrupts Himself to interrupt us. This is His reminder. Hebrews 13:2 states:
“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.”
Everything that we possess is wrapped up in the presence of God’s love and mercy so that we can bless others. It is always the extra effort and mile that will bless us. Our job is to honor God by honoring and helping those who are vulnerable and in need.
