Student Profile: Leticia Maldonado

Here is a little bit about myself. I’m originally from Mexico and am proud to be the first in my family to work in the medical field. I came to AUHS after hearing about it from a friend and learning about its strong connection to Lestonnac Free Clinic, where I work. AUHS helped me complete my graduation hours through various events, and my goal as a nurse is to return to Lestonnac to work at their free surgery center. I’m passionate about supporting uninsured clients and providing care to those who need it most.
It is students like Leticia, faithfully volunteering at our foundation events like Acts of Love, who truly bring the AUHS values of love, caring, justice, and respect to life— making a difference in our community to the glory of God.
