School of Nursing Pass Rates Exceed National Average
By Brent Davis
The AUHS NCLEX RN first-time pass rate for the period July 2025 to June 2026 was 90.53 %, exceeding the national average for 2025-26 of 86.7 % for U.S.-educated nursing students. First-time pass rates are an important indicator of the quality of a nursing program and are required by the California Board of Registered Nursing to exceed a minimum of 75 %. It should be noted that some programs with pass rates in the 90s only accept the most qualified applicants to their programs, whereas AUHS is more inclusive. Our congratulations to the faculty and hard-working students of the School of Nursing.
