Salt and Light Spring 2025: Life in the Kingdom

In the Lord’s Prayer we see Jesus’s vision for life in the Kingdom:
- Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name
- Thy Kingdom come
- Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven
We do this by
- Sanctification > becoming w(holy)
- Edification > building Kingdom community; using gifts; sacred place
- And transformation > knowing God’s will > cycle back to S & E
These lead to maturation (telos).
In Acts 2: 46 we see these processes are done through prayer, teaching and sharing together—community!
The result is personal maturity, flourishing, and God’s glory. (Ephesians 1: 3-22; 2: 10; 4: 1-16).
Community is the theme of Salt and Light this term. Here is our schedule:
