AUHS Honors Pregnant Students Through Special Gift-Giving Event

On August 5, 2026, American University of Health Sciences celebrated the strength, perseverance, and dedication of its pregnant students through a special diaper and gift-giving event organized by Student Services Affairs.
The thoughtful initiative was made possible through the generosity of AUHS Founder Ms. Kim Dang, who personally provided diapers and special gifts to students who are balancing pregnancy while pursuing their education as full-time students.
The event was organized by Ms. Alma Pineda, Assistant Director of Student Services Affairs, reflecting AUHS’s continued commitment to recognizing and supporting students not only in their academic journey, but also in the important milestones and responsibilities of their personal lives.
Balancing pregnancy and full-time studies requires tremendous dedication, resilience, and determination. Through this gesture, AUHS sought to remind its student mothers that their efforts are recognized and that they remain an important part of the AUHS community.
The event was more than simply a gift-giving occasion. It was a celebration of the courage and perseverance of AUHS students who continue to pursue their educational and professional goals while preparing for one of life’s most meaningful journeys—parenthood.
