American University of Health Sciences proudly celebrates Emmanuel Abrokwa, who was presented as a degree candidate for the Master of Science in Nursing program with distinction.
Emmanuel’s AUHS journey reflects both dedication and continuity. Having previously completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at AUHS, he returned to the university to pursue his master’s degree and continue advancing in the nursing profession.
“I did my BSN here as a nurse, and now I’m getting my master’s degree here,” he shared.
For Emmanuel, graduation is not the end of the journey. He is already looking ahead to the next stage of his professional and academic development, including the possibility of pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
“I’m definitely planning to get a DNP,” he said.
Although distance may influence where he completes the next step, Emmanuel expressed appreciation for the support and opportunity he received at AUHS. He noted that if AUHS continues to offer the kind of support that helped make his master’s degree possible, he would consider returning again.
Emmanuel also took time to recognize the influence of Dr. DeGrano, whom he described as an outstanding instructor, teacher, and role model.
“I would just like to say one good thing about Dr. DeGrano,” Emmanuel said. “He’s been an awesome instructor, an awesome teacher, and a role model. I really would like to say, continue the good job that he’s doing.”
As he celebrates earning his Master of Science in Nursing with distinction, Emmanuel’s message to future AUHS students is simple and encouraging: success comes through commitment and hard work.
“If you are coming to AUHS, remember: put in your hard work, and it is going to turn out very good,” he said.
Emmanuel’s accomplishment reflects the mission of AUHS to prepare healthcare professionals who pursue excellence, service, and lifelong learning. His journey from BSN graduate to MSN graduate with distinction is a testament to perseverance, mentorship, and the continued pursuit of professional growth.
