15th Annual Santa Cause Brings Joy

On December 14, 2024, the AUHS Foundation held its annual Santa Cause toy giveaway. We can all remember the joy of getting a toy for Christmas (or some other occasion) and, if you are like me, still have warm memories of the time.
This week as the President of the Foundation, Kim Dang, was getting a load of toys from Mattel, the worker at the loading dock asked where we were located. When she told him Signal Hill, he noted that he knew the city well because he lived in Long Beach. In fact, it came out that as a boy, he had gotten toys at our Santa Cause events! The toy may not last, but the joyful memories go on. When we give a toy, we bless and are blessed.
