I realize this is an odd question. So let me explain..
I ran into a former student of mine on campus here at AUHS, who said she thinks about homework and topics all the time. I wished her well, and then I thought to myself: Is that a good thing that she thinks about homework and topics all the time?
You are probably thinking, “no way.”
Let’s look at this further. You have heard me talk about critical thinking and creative thinking. However, there are different ways to “think”:
First, let’s review. Critical thinking is often described as raising your level of thinking to a higher level

Second, creative thinking is often described as generating new, original, or innovative ideas.
Let’s look at other ways to think:
Analytical thinking is breaking down complex information into smaller parts to understand it better.
Abstract thinking is thinking about things that are not physically present or concrete.
Concrete thinking is thinking about actual objects or facts, rather than ideas or concepts.
Reflective thinking about past experiences to learn or gain insight.
Divergent thinking is generating multiple possible solutions to a problem.
Convergent thinking is narrowing down options to find a single, best solution.
Lateral thinking is solving problems through an indirect or creative approach.
Strategic thinking is Planning long-term goals and how to achieve them.
Systemic thinking is understanding how parts of a system interrelate and affect the whole.
Emotional thinking is thinking that is influenced by emotions or feelings.
So, how do you think? It is recommended to be flexible in thinking and not think in a singular or narrow-minded way.
Proverbs 23:7 states: This proverb underscores the power of our thoughts. It suggests that our inner thoughts shape our identity and actions. To be transformed, we must first renew our minds with godly thinking.
My experience has been to be flexible in thinking but always do the right thing, think in the right ways, pursue the right thing, and the right thoughts.
My recommendation to you: Do not be afraid to think!
